Series of Sad Events

Recently, a lot of sad things happened.

One of it was that i tore my left contact lens. I washed it with too much force and it just tore into 2 pieces. Moreover the left side is the more expensive one amongst the two. And moreover's moreover, i only wore it for 5 times while it should have lasted for a month. I guess sometimes one shouldnt be too careful with things. Initially, i thought if my lens were dirty, my eyes would be infected. So i went to clean the lenses with more force and because of this, my lens spoiled. Thus tomorrow i will be going to get a new left lens which would cost quite a sum. Sad.

Another thing is that i will have no holidays after this 3 weeks studio project which is already a pain in the ass.

Yes you name it, NO BREAKS!

Bloody hell. I will be taking yet another project call the Final Year Project right after this 3 weeks studio project. There are actually 4 paths chosen by the DET lecturers by random for each student.

  1. Attachment -> FYPJ -> Modules -> Holiday
  2. FYPJ -> Attachment -> Modules -> Holiday
  3. Holiday -> Modules -> FYPJ -> Attachment
  4. Holiday -> Modules -> Attachment -> FYPJ

And i got the second path which is the lousiest. Freaking 25% chance and i got it, i feel blessed by the god of unluckyness. Well, this certainly saddens me because everyone will want a break after 3 weeks of studio project and i got none. But looking at the positive side, i will be doing attachment straight after the stupid Final Year Project. Hopefully i can get a good company and have some interesting jobs to do.

The third thing is that i have started playing the boring game called Defense of the Ancient [DotA] once again. In this game, the aim is to make your opponent get pissed off and to make them have the least amount of fun as possible. I dont know why i am playing it again but i guess i am just too bored. And the idea of pissing those no-lifers off is just great, looking at their responses after they lose. Tell you people something, when i get really really bored, i often play games and try to piss other people off.

Example:

*At the start of a game of DotA*

Me types: "Host is a noob"
Host types: *all sorts of scolding and suaning words to me*

*Because the host was so angry with me, he became rash*
*When his emotion is affected, i can easily own him*

Me types: "I told you host is a noob"

Well, some people will just leave the game but some people are really good and they own me. I know this behaviour is very stupid and idiotic but it is quite entertaining :X

Anyway, why did this make me sad? Isnt it fun as i have said?

The reason is that i have actually quit gaming for quite a time and now i have came back to play. This is totally sad because i really wanted to stop so much gaming. You know gaming is bad for health. Of course there are other saddening things, but it shouldnt be disclosed or it would probably flood the whole blog. Guess thats all for today, thanks for reading the cruel facts of life!

Happy Chinese New Year

This Chinese New Year i had some bizarre adventures.

I stayed in a Malaysia hotel for 3 days 2 nights and something weird happened. During the first night, i placed my fully charged hand phone beside my bed and went to sleep with an alarm set. On 3am at the morning, i was woke up by a loud banging noise coming from below. To what i have heard, a guy had actually came rampaging into the hotel lobby and threw things around for destruction purposes. The noises ended only after around 40min, which during this time i was unable to sleep.

On the next morning, i woke up at 8am which already was late. The alarm did not sound, so i check my hand phone. The phone laid there motionless. I picked it up, flipped it and examined it. To my very horror, the phone had no more moving electron (which also means my battery is flat)! Well, normally my phone can last 5 days without charging, but the battery went flat after that night.

I really did not know what happened.

That was one of my bizarre happenings. But anyway, i went to catch the show "Jumper" today. The show focuses on a guy call David Rice-somthing (i bet his fore-fathers like rice a lot) who can "jump", or rather teleport, around locations he sees before. Then he got hunted by Samuel L. Jackson for having that ability. Jackson called him a "bai lei" which means a bad, useless, worthless, having no contribution to the society, lousy person. And i totally agreed with him because David used his power to rob banks. Well, at this point if i had the "jumping" ability, i would probably do so too. Then the story ends after David defeated Jackson with much effort.

After the movie, we had a conversation about "If i had the jumping ability ...". We totally will use the ability to the max. And considering the things we would do with that ability, the world will end very soon. To sumarise all, i think we have no moral =X

Some random conversation today:
(*Jeffrey uses my laptop and saw the MIRC icon on desktop)

Jeffrey: eh you got use MIRC.
Me: ya of course, i use it to play games.
Jeffrey: what games?
Me: what else? cybersex
la!

(clarify: i was only joking, i never use it for cybersex =.=)
(i actually use it to connect to games like wc3/dota)

Thats all folks!
